• Monitor saved locations

c. Photos and Face Data

If you use face search features, we may process:

• Derived face embeddings used for comparison

Data handling:

• Uploaded photos are processed transiently and deleted after use
• Face data is used only to compare against publicly available offender records
• We do not use this data for identity verification, profiling, or unrelated purposes

d. Contacts and Shared Reports

If you choose to share reports, we may collect:

• Names and contact details you provide, such as phone or email
• Message delivery metadata, such as send status

This data is used solely to:

• Send reports you explicitly initiate
• Track delivery status

e. Device and Usage Data

We may collect:

• Device type and OS version
• App usage events
• Crash logs and diagnostics

f. Subscription and Payment Data

• Payments are processed by Apple via In-App Purchases
• We do not store or have access to your payment information

• Match faces against public offender databases
• Deliver reports you choose to share
• Improve app performance and reliability
• Manage subscriptions and entitlements

3. Offender Data and Accuracy Disclaimer

ProAct aggregates offender data from publicly available sources, including:

• National and state sex offender registries
• Government-operated public safety databases

Important:

• All offender records are provided by their respective states or governing authorities
• Data accuracy is determined by those sources, and errors may occur
• Users should rely on official state registries for authoritative information

Corrections and removals:

• Requests to correct or remove offender data should be directed to the appropriate state or governing body
• You may also contact us at legal@getproact.com, and we will review requests and coordinate where appropriate

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data.

We may share information in the following cases:

a. Service Providers

We may use trusted third-party services for:

• Cloud hosting

• Access controls and monitoring

No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

8. Age Restrictions

ProAct is intended for adult use only.

• Individuals under 18 are explicitly prohibited from using the app
• Parents or guardians may use ProAct to help protect their family

We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

9. Acceptable Use and Enforcement

ProAct is designed to provide informational safety tools only.

Users agree not to:

• Harass, intimidate, or target individuals
• Misuse offender data in violation of applicable laws

Enforcement:

• Violations may result in account suspension or termination
• We reserve the right, at our discretion, to cooperate with law enforcement and state prosecutors in cases involving illegal activity, including harassment or misuse of the platform
